Intellectual Property: All intellectual property (IP) related to talk submissions remains solely with the individual submitting the content. UN//SCENE Festival does not claim ownership at any stage.
Submission Retention: Submissions will be stored securely from the date of submission until the end of September 2025, after which they will be deleted unless we specifically request to retain them with your permission.
Evaluation Criteria: Submissions will be assessed in line with the principles set out on our website: https://www.unscenefestival.co.uk/
Programme Flexibility: We reserve the right to adjust the festival programme. This may include reassigning talks to different thematic tracks or grouping individual speakers into panels, debates, or fireside chats where content is complementary. However, any such changes will only be made with the prior consent of all involved speakers.
Data Handling

UN//SCENE Festival is an independent, non-profit event. As such, we are unfortunately unable to offer payment for speaking engagements or cover any associated costs, including travel, accommodation, or subsistence.
By submitting a talk proposal, you acknowledge and accept that:
Participation as a speaker is on a voluntary, unpaid basis
Any expenses incurred (e.g. travel, lodging) will be your own responsibility
We greatly value your time, contribution, and support in helping to build a vibrant, inclusive festival programme
